    Greetings to the Author!

I’ve been an ardent history geek all my life and I always bemoaned the fact that there was no “good” historical fiction material on the Indian scene. I’m, of course, referring to fiction which deal with the great watershed events in Indian history, such as the focus of your book, and not the mythological re-interpretations that we can’t seem to get past.

For me, you have you have taken a step in a much-needed direction for the development of this genre. I haven’t read your book yet, but having read the excerpts and I’m excited to get my hands on it.

Please keep writing and revisiting the great Indian past!

PS: I would’ve loved to sit and chat with you had you still been in Delhi.

Thanks brother! Believe me the book is based on a ton of historical research and also, I am totally against the trend of mixing mythology or fantastic events with history or of bollywood-izing history…so I have tried to keep things as real as possible even if it slows down the story or makes it uninteresting.

Since you like Indian history, I would love to hear your comments after you read it. Keep in mind, both the excerpts are action scenes….most of the book might be a little slower than this.

      Regards,
      Rahul
